Our Footprints is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive with a background in consulting and Renewable Energy. We seek someone passionate about building client relationships and enhancing Our Footprints' reputation - joining our BD team. The ideal candidate should be open to travelling in the UK for events and client meetings.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
· Promoting Our Footprints for our renewable energy specialisms and services offering to organisations across the globe.
· Produce and review tenders and bids, liaising with the team and Clients.
DUTIES:
· Support company business development activities with direct support from the Business development team and wider technical team.
· Tender writing, including; liaison with client on scope, liaison with suppliers and/or sub-contractors, and using company systems (CMap) to produce costings.
· Attendance at industry related events in the UK and overseas on occasion.
· Engaging with Clients to secure work.
· Monitor the Renewable Energy market; clients, technologies and projects.
· Consulting with prospective customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships.
· Customer relationship management, maintaining relationships and identifying opportunities with existing clients.
· On receipt of a request for tender, if necessary, work with the client to develop the scope of the project.
· Log the opportunity and any pertinent information in the CRM system (CMap).
· Maintain accurate information and ensure the team are recording all activities and opportunities on CRM (CRM).
· Liaise with internal teams to align scope with our project experience and expertise.
· Generate costings for tenders, liaising internally with team leaders as well as externally with any potential suppliers and/or sub-contractors.
· Ensure suppliers meet quality and industry standards via internal ISO 9001 processes.
· Quality control and keen eye for detail to ensure documents generated using existing templates and in line with company style guide and delivered to the client in a presentable manner.
· Following up with clients on submitted tenders and tracking KPI’s; no. of tenders won, lost, reasons, repeat custom vs new custom.
· On successful award of a tender, support contract process and internal kick-off meeting with all relevant team members.
· Once a project is complete, support internal close-out meeting, identifying any lessons learned and seek feedback from the client, either directly or via the Project Manager.
