Purpose of the role
We are looking for a true customer services professional with a real focus on creating memories and experiences for our valued members and guest.
You need to be naturally passionate about whisky and the delivery of fantastic customer service by creating a great hospitality environment.
You will be warm, engaging, outgoing and confident, have an eye for detail and highly motivated to strive for perfection. Along with a commercial understanding to promote all aspects of the Society, including membership sales, whisky tasting and member events.
The Bartender position will report to the Venue Manager.


Duties and Responsibilities
· Participate in Cocktail training and Whisky Outturn tasting session
· With the Venue Manager, maintain an effective Stock system; monitor of all stock to and from the bar
· Assist with the smooth and efficient running of the venue
· Ensure good communication between all venue staff and other departments.
· Participate in staff meetings as and when required.
· Ensure all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
· To encourage and support the integration of food service within the venue.
· Check, float and record sales and cash up at the end of each shift.
· In compliance with licensing regulations, open and close all bars.
