Job Opportunity: BAND 6 Qualified Paramedics required for PES Contract
We are currently seeking qualified BAND 6 Paramedics to join us for an exciting new contract in the North West. If you’re passionate about providing excellent emergency care and want to be part of a dynamic team, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Position Details:
- Job Title: Band 6 Qualified Paramedic - Post 24 months qualified with the HCPC
- Location: Irlam, Greater Manchester, North West, UK
- Contract Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care in line with a minimum of recognised Paramedic qualifications.
- Assist in stabilising patients at the scene of accidents or medical emergencies.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Ensure all clinical documentation and reports are completed accurately.
Essential Requirement
- Minimum of 24 months post registration with HCPC with no restrictions on practice
- Must have completed NQP Portfolio - with evidence
- CERAD Certificate or equivalent blue light certificate
- Previous experience in emergency response or pre-hospital care is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full Manual Driving Licence with C1 capabilities desired.
- Supernumerary shifts

Working as part of an ambulance crew, excellent communication, caring and time management skills are a must, as you will support and care for a range of patients with different conditions, mobility and disabilities.
In order to fulfil this role you must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and be physically fit so you can undertake the manual handling of patients and equipment.
