Associate Graphic Designer
As an Associate Graphic Designer, you will support the Creative Team in developing a range of creative assets across the lifecycle of a game, from early brand ideas to promotional materials like announce trailers and seasonal sales content. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to exciting projects.
You'll work alongside the Head of Brand, Creative Project Manager and Product Marketing Managers to grasp the creative vision for our games, understand specific requests, and help with ideation and asset creation. Strong time management is key, as timely assets are vital for marketing efforts and smooth collaboration across internal and external teams.
Assets must also follow guidelines from the creative brief, such as brand or licensing rules, to prevent last-minute revisions.
- With Head of Brand and Creative Project Manager, assist in reviewing and understanding each creative brief requested of the Creative Team.
- Support the creation of creative assets, which can but not limited to the following types:
- Helping with game branding, including logo and key art
- Assisting in the rollout of new branded assets across relevant online channels including store pages and websites
- Online store page branded assets
- Game Icons
- Social media and community supporting assets
- Secret Mode website assets
- Digital and physical paid media adverts
- Physical merchandise
- Physical event banners, booth panels and other event assets
- Secret Mode brand and brand assets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the Head of Brand and Creative Project Manager to contribute ideas for brand direction on new IP.
- Work with the Head of Brand and Creative Project Manager to support briefing, reviewing and providing feedback on work from creative agencies and freelancers, helping ensure high quality that aligns with the Secret Mode brand and our published IP.
- Assist the Head of Brand and Creative Project Manager in advising on the correct use and implementation of Secret Mode brand assets and individual Secret Mode published titles brand assets or Licensed IP guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in graphic design, UI design, game art or a similar role.
- Basic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Familiarity with licensed IP is a plus for understanding and applying brand guidelines
- Experience using layered artwork to adapt or create marketing assets
- Desirable: Experience in designing and creating logos and key art
- Desirable: Experience creating online store page assets for PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, Steam, Epic and websites
- Desirable: Experience creating paid ads
- Experience creating social and other online public facing assets
- Desirable: Experience in creating print ready assets such as event banners and merchandise.
