We’re looking for a proactive Assistant Café Manager to help deliver a high‑quality café experience at Queenswood Arboretum & Country Park. You will support the Café Manager with daily operations and lead the café team in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent front‑of‑house service and maintain high operational standards
- Support daily café management and ensure smooth, profitable operations
- Lead, motivate and support the café team
- Assist with basic food preparation (sandwiches, simple dishes)
- Run plates and equipment through the pot‑wash and maintain hygiene standards
- Help keep the café and visitor facilities clean and welcoming
About You
- Experience in hospitality or café/restaurant environments
- Confident leading a team and supporting daily operations
- Friendly, customer‑focused, and able to work flexibly
- Committed to maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene
