We’re looking for a proactive Assistant Café Manager to help deliver a high‑quality café experience at Queenswood Arboretum & Country Park. You will support the Café Manager with daily operations and lead the café team in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent front‑of‑house service and maintain high operational standards
  • Support daily café management and ensure smooth, profitable operations
  • Lead, motivate and support the café team
  • Assist with basic food preparation (sandwiches, simple dishes)
  • Run plates and equipment through the pot‑wash and maintain hygiene standards
  • Help keep the café and visitor facilities clean and welcoming

About You
  • Experience in hospitality or café/restaurant environments
  • Confident leading a team and supporting daily operations
  • Friendly, customer‑focused, and able to work flexibly
  • Committed to maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene
