Assessment Production Lead
Behind every great assessment is great production.
We're looking for an Assessment Production Lead to take ownership of the end-to-end production, quality assurance and delivery of assessment materials across our qualification’s portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in assessment or examination production who thrives on organisation, quality and keeping complex projects on track.
About the Role
As our Assessment Production Lead, you'll coordinate the planning, production and publication of assessment materials, ensuring everything is delivered accurately, on time and in line with regulatory requirements. You'll be the central link between assessment designers, subject matter experts, external contractors and internal teams, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
This is a fully remote, work‑from‑home role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end assessment production process from planning through to publication and delivery.
- Manage production schedules, milestones and delivery plans across multiple qualifications.
- Ensure assessment materials are accurate, compliant and meet agreed quality standards.
- Oversee quality assurance processes, version control and final sign-off activities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, assessment designers, reviewers and wider stakeholders.
- Monitor risks, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement across production processes.
- Support the implementation of new systems, technologies and ways of working.
- Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and quality.
About You
You'll be an organised and proactive professional with a passion for quality and delivery. You'll enjoy coordinating multiple projects, managing stakeholders and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
You'll Bring:
- Experience within an Awarding Organisation managing assessment or examination production activities.
- Knowledge of assessment lifecycles, assessment methods and production processes
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- An understanding of assessment regulations, accessibility standards and quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence and collaborate across teams.
