Job Title: AAA Wellbeing Worker
Responsible to: AAA Project Lead
Based at: Tyneside and Northumberland, Hybrid Working
Hours: Part-time 18,5 per week
Contract length: Permanent
Salary: £13.06 per hour

Purpose of job
Tyneside and Northumberland Mind are looking to recruit an effective, highly motivated, and confident Wellbeing worker to join their highly skilled team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working within Tyneside and Northumberland.
Building on our established services, the Wellbeing worker will work alongside our local wellbeing team to deliver our Adults Autism and ADHD service supporting Neurodiverse people in Gateshead on our highly sought after Adults Autism and ADHD programme
Working alongside our wider team, the role looks to ensure our services are accessible add value and continue to build on the continuous learning from our previous courses. This is a proactive role which requires a willingness to work alongside other providers and services to build a strong network.
The role will offer support within the groups, manage the administration and maintenance of the CRM system and proactively support the Project Lead in the delivery of essential reports.
Working with local authorities commissioning groups and supporting services, this role integrates our services into the community and looks for additional opportunities where we are able to extend our services.
This role will also facilitate wellbeing groups in the wider organisation, support wellbeing events and play a key part in the creation and delivery of the wellbeing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out client assessments as and when required.
2. Work within our wellbeing team to ensure inclusivity for the wellbeing programme.
3. Review and monitor our impact in the community.
4. Refer clients to other specialist services and support groups.
5. Create and deliver programmes within our wellbeing team.
6. Establish links with partner organisations and attend relevant meetings where appropriate.
7. Collate and provide qualitative and quantitative data and produce reports as part of the reporting process.
8. Ensure that all administrative work, correspondence and telephone enquiries are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
9. Support the Senior Wellbeing Manager to provide reports on overall service delivery and impact
10. Escalate risks and work with Senior Managers to ensure risks are dealt with efficiently and safely.
11. Carry out all admin tasks supporting the AAA service.
12. Work with referring pathways to ensure smooth client transition.
13. Lead and facilitate courses and peer support groups.
Expectations

2. The nature of the post will require flexibility in terms of ways of working to deliver on objectives.
3. The post holder is expected to travel to meetings and groups throughout the area of benefit.
4. Evening and weekend work for out of business hours group sessions.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- At least 1 years’ experience of working in mental health or similar with clients who have a number of complex needs.
- The ability to build accessible, strong relationships with clients; to work with them in a reassuring, supportive, manner which leads to an empowering partnership.
- Ability to work with clients to enable them to have control of their own lives and become more independent and resourceful.
- An awareness of the power imbalance of working with our vulnerable client group and ability to diminish that whilst maintaining a client led, person centred, boundaried relationship.
- An understanding of the impact of domestic violence and challenging family situations on mental health.
- Experience of facilitating both group and one to one support and ability to work in challenging situations.
- Experience of building strong partnerships with other agencies.
- Knowledge and experience of statutory safeguarding processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently and can use own initiative.
- Experience of using outcome measurement tools to track clients’ progress.
- Experience of writing or contributing to update reports for funders and/or commissioners.
- Adept at using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
- An understanding of and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and to Tyneside and Northumberland Mind’s values.
- Must be able to travel dependant to the needs of the business.
