Purpose of the role:
Affinia (formally known as GWC) is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to come and join the Accounts department in our Harlow office. The role will involve a full bookkeeping experience for the client.

Accountabilities: 
With support, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, assisting with: 

• Bank reconciliation
• Month end process
• Monthly reports including revenue and monthly turnover
• Credit card receipts
• Supporting accountants with yearend, by providing accurate trial balance and reports
• VAT Returns and CIS returns and ONS Surveys
• Data entry by means of purchase/sales invoice and bank data entry.


Skills / Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate that has:
• Preferably AAT qualified but qualified by experience considered
• Strong IT/Microsoft abilities
• A professional approach with the ability to communicate with clients both via email, phone and face to face
• Experience in Xero/Sage and QuickBooks
• Ability to work towards deadlines
• Understanding of VAT and CIS
• Strong attention to detail skills.
