Could you be a Trustee for WILD Young Parents? 

Help shape a better future for young parent families in Cornwall. 

WILD is looking for new Trustees to join our Board and help guide the future of our work. 

We particularly welcome people who are or have been a young parent, or who grew up in a young parent family. Your experience and understanding are valuable, and we want the voices of people who know what young parent family life is really like to help shape what WILD does. 

You don't need previous Trustee or Board experience. We can support you through the application process and help you learn what you need to know.

What does being a Trustee involve? 

As a WILD Trustee, you'll work with the rest of the Board to help make important decisions, ensure WILD is meeting its goals and responsibilities, promote and champion our work, and advocate for young parent families. 

The commitment is approximately 12 days per year, including: 

 

Meetings are held online with one board meeting face to face in Camborne, Cornwall. 

Trustees are volunteers and can claim reasonable expenses. Appropriate checks and safeguarding requirements form part of the appointment process.
