The Opportunity 
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead Bristol Sport Foundation’s (BSF) marketing and communications strategy. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging content, growing our digital presence, showcasing the impact of our programmes and ensuring our brand is represented consistently across every platform. 

Responsibilities:
-         Lead the development and delivery of BSF’s marketing and communications strategy. 
-         Manage and grow our social media channels across all platforms. 
-         Plan and deliver engaging content that reflects our programmes and impact. 
-         Create compelling written and visual content videos, graphics, photography, and promotional materials. 
-         Ensure all communications reflect our values, mission and brand identity. 
-         Produce case studies and impact stories from across our programmes. 
-         Support funding bids and reports with marketing materials and evidence of impact.
-         Provide coverage of BSF corporate, community, fundraising and inter-school events. 
-         Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement. 
-         Manage and update BSF's website and digital platforms. 

The Key Requirements:
-         Experience in a marketing, communications or digital media role. 
-         Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences. 
-         Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content. 
- Strong experience managing and updating websites.
-         Ability to produce high-quality photography and/or video content using a smartphone or camera.
-         Experience using design software such as Canva (or similar) to create professional marketing materials. 
-         Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
-         Ability to work independently, take ownership or projects and use initiative. 
-         Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 
-         Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle to attend events and partner venues across Bristol and the surrounding area.

Please note - as this role involves working with young people, the successful candidate/s will require an Enhanced DBS Check.

Notes

Working hours: Approximately 20 hours per week. The working pattern can be agreed with the successful candidate and offers flexibility to meet both BSF’s and the individual’s needs. The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required to support events.
