Expression of Interest – sUAS Training Instructor
 
Eagle Eye Innovations Ltd  is seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals interested in supporting the delivery and development of high-quality sUAS training programmes across various locations including Lincolnshire, the North East, South West and South Coast of England.

This opportunity is suited to individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • sUAS instructional and/or operational delivery
  • sUAS technical expertise
  • Training assurance and validation
  • Safety and airworthiness awareness
 
The successful individual will support the delivery of a mix of:

  • Classroom-based instruction
  • Synthetic/simulator training
  • Live flying instruction
 
Training activity may include the development of remote pilots, sensor operators and other sUAS personnel, with a focus on the safe, effective and compliant operation of uncrewed aircraft systems.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant sUAS operational and/or instructional experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence
  • The ability to work within established training and quality frameworks
  • A valid GVC and/or RPC-L1 Part A and Part B qualification
  • Experience conducting Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations
  • Experience operating within Defence, aviation or other safety-critical environments is desirable
 
Desirable Experience

  • Military or civilian flying training experience
  • Instructional qualifications
  • Experience developing training material and assessments
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including UK CAA, SORA or equivalent authorisation processes
  • Experience supporting training assurance, validation or standardisation activities
  • Experience operating within complex BVLOS environments and supporting BVLOS training delivery
 
Security Requirements

Due to the nature of elements of the roles, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
