Due to continued & exciting expansion, we are looking for a Senior Income & Operations Officer to join the MAC Group

Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the Income and Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing income collection, monitoring financial transactions, and supporting operational processes to ensure efficient service delivery. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, improving operational systems, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring all fees are added correctly on CRM systems and updated accordingly.     

  • Monitor and manage income collection processes.     

  • Track outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.     

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming payments.    

  • Investigating internal and external Income queries     

  • Reconcile income reports with financial systems.    

  • Reconcile cash & client accounts 

  • Monthly billing and invoicing processes     

  • Liaise with internal teams and external providers regarding income-related matters.     

  • Assist in developing and implementing operational policies.     

  • Maintain operational documentation and records.     

  • Ad-hoc projects to improve operational efficiency     

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.     

  • Identify potential risks in income collection or operational processes.   

The ideal candidate  will have experience in financial administration and income management along with previous operational experience.  They should be proficient with all Microsoft applications but have strong MS Excel skills. The ability to multi task & meet strict deadlines is essential.  The successful candidate will also need to have an aptitude to develop and learn quickly, work well as a member of a team but also individually & have strong analytical & numerical skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential
  • MS Excel experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good time management
  • Effective organisation skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent)

Desirable
  • Previous knowledge of insurance & pensions products and services is beneficial but not necessary
  • Experience using the QuickBooks & Acturis systems would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
