https://www.operalimited.com/ We are seeking a Senior Manager - Compliance to join our team in a key leadership role, supporting the effective oversight of regulatory and compliance matters across Oak Jersey and its affiliated entities. You will work closely with the appointed Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer to ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, maintaining compliance across frameworks including FSB, TCB, MoME, DSP and AMLSP.
Acting as Deputy Key Person (DMLCO, DMLRO and DCO), you will work across a diverse portfolio that includes trust company businesses, money services businesses and fund structures, including Jersey Private Funds and entities supervised under Schedule 2. You will provide clear regulatory guidance to stakeholders, enhance and coordinate compliance monitoring programmes, and support ongoing engagement with the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute at a senior level, advising business partners on regulatory matters, risk and best practice, while ensuring alignment with all applicable laws, codes and internal policies. You will bring strong experience in financial services, ideally with a background in corporate, trust or fund structures, and a solid understanding of Jersey’s AML/CFT/CPF framework and regulatory environment. A recognised professional qualification such as ICA (or working towards it) is preferred, along with proven experience in or exposure to Key Person roles.
