About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Training & Development Senior Associate to join WBR Group and play a key role in shaping how our people learn, grow, and succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the design and support delivery of structured training programmes across our Operations teams, ensuring new starters are set up for success and existing colleagues continue to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence.

You’ll take ownership of our induction experience, support ongoing capability building, and work closely with leaders across the business to embed a culture of continuous learning aligned to our values of Professionalism, Excellence, Empathy and Respect (PEER).

What you’ll be doing

Induction & onboarding

  • Design and deliver engaging, tailored induction programmes for new starters
  • Support onboarding across multiple business areas, ensuring a smooth transition into operational teams
  • Partner with Team Managers during probation periods to provide insight on progress, engagement and development needs

Training delivery & development

  • Develop and maintain a structured training calendar aligned to business priorities
  • Deliver and coordinate training to upskill Client Associates and support regulatory compliance
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide meaningful MI to stakeholders
  • Keep training materials up to date, accessible and aligned to best practice

Performance & culture

  • Champion a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience
  • Promote a growth mindset and continuous development culture
  • Identify skills gaps and proactively implement solutions to support colleagues

Collaboration & continuous improvement

  • Work closely with Operations leadership and key stakeholders to shape training strategy
  • Ensure training supports business objectives and evolving regulatory requirements
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and best practice

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from candidates who bring:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering structured training programmes
  • Strong understanding of financial services and/or pensions (ideally SSAS)
  • Experience supporting onboarding and developing colleagues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, positive approach and passion for learning and development
  • Confidence using training tools and systems to track progress and measure impact
