Due to continued & exciting expansion, we are looking for a Business Support Assistant  to join the MAC Insurance Brokers team.

The role would suit a results-driven, highly motivated individual, who possesses integrity, a strong work ethic and a desire to help clients.

Reporting to the Group Broking Manager, this role provides essential administrative and operational support to the Insurance Broking Team. The focus is on ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day broking activities, maintaining accurate records and supporting client servicing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To provide effective assistance and support to the Broking Team.

  •  Arranging & preparing documentation for clients

  • Client Account Administration including day-to-day care of clients in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Gathering information from clients as necessary and updating CRM system

  • Answering phone calls and dealing with client queries

  •  Monitoring Broking mailbox and responding/distributing emails as appropriate

  • Ensuring client documentation including Customer Due Diligence documentation meets legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Building relationships with clients & Insurers

  • Dealing and processing all general enquiries via email or mail

  • Other Ad-Hoc tasks as required by the business

The ideal candidate will be an effective organiser, have the ability to work on there own as well as part of the team, with effective time management skills, a confidence to ask questions, a customer focused mindset, excellent customer service skills, the ability to prioritise work & deliver within deadlines and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent) 
  • Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Desirable
  • Previous knowledge of insurance products and services is beneficial but not necessary
  • Experience using the Acturis system would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
