JOB SUMMARY 
Our fast-growing Jersey Funds & Corporate Services team requires a dynamic individual with several years’ experience of successfully administering an international portfolio while working closely with clients and their professional advisers. As part of the Funds & Corporate Services team, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of fund administration at a senior level, including valuations, timely processing, developing internal procedures, legal, regulatory and compliance requirements. As you would expect from a regulated financial services business, we maintain a high level of client service at all times. The Senior Fund Administrator will provide support to the Funds & Corporate Services Manager and will monitor the client workflow of junior team members, providing training and support where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Administration of a specific client base of funds, management companies and associated fund structures 
  • Liaising with and acting as a first point of contact for clients, investors and other connected parties. 
  • Preparing draft minutes and resolutions for entities under management (companies, fund structures and trusts etc.) 
  • Co-ordination of client board meetings 
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new client entities and connected parties 
  • Setting up of client bank accounts 
  • Advising and supporting junior members of team with workflow and development 
  • Acting as an authorised signatory 
  • Ensuring timely regulatory reporting to the JFSC 
  • Preparation of general correspondence for clients and connected parties 
  • Processing all investor changes/transfers and ensuring accurate investor records are maintained. 
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of tax reporting and filing where appropriate. 
  • Timely completion of periodic reviews and other compliance deliverables 
  • Able to recognise and identify potential problems/risks and report these appropriately 
  • Adherence to internal processes and procedures ensuring all legal, ethical and regulatory requirements are understood and maintained 
  • Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of all AML related procedures relevant to the role 
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments 
  • Keep up to date with new developments in fund services and products 
  • Able to respond effectively, verbally and in writing when dealing with clients, intermediaries and connected parties 
  • Managing and assisting in the completion of ad-hoc projects from time to time that impact clients, the team and the Company as a whole 
  • Completing and inputting time in the time billing system on a daily basis 
  • Preparation of client invoices and ensuring timely settlement of fees 
  • Completing any other duties as may be required from time to time in accordance with the requirements of the role, team and evolving nature of the function.

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS 
  • Strong financial services experience with a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements in relation to Funds 
  • Holds or is studying towards a relevant professional qualification. 
  • A good level of numeracy skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Has an enquiring mind, being able to question, research, apply and share learning 
  • Has practical experience of Microsoft Excel and Word to Intermediate level 
  • Is comfortable with technology and can adapt to various bespoke systems and banking platforms. 
  • Has developed excellent organisational skills and meets deadlines 
  • Understands the importance of consistently delivering high standards in a customer service role. 
  • Strong commitment to organisation effectiveness and service delivery 
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
