JOB DESCRIPTION:   Technical Co-Ordinator

LOCATION:               Head Office, Units 1-6, Old Station, Higham, Bury St Edmunds

REPORTING TO:       Operations Manager 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:  Preparation of all aspects of Asset work to support compliance of In-house measures.

Job Role

As a Technical Coordinator, you will support the compliant delivery of in-house energy efficiency. Working from survey stage through to installation of asset works, you will produce plans, quotes, kit lists and completion paperwork to ensure installations meet PAS and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Review survey data and produce installation-ready documentation
  • Create a plan for works, specifying all tasks and resources required 
  • Develop a quote for the works defined
  • Compile rate cards showing labour time/costs for tasks 
  • Create and validate material kit lists to ensure correct stock allocation 
  • Support process by verifying compliance evidence 
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal delivery teams
  • Support commissioning documentation for ventilation systems where required 
  • Maintain project trackers, using Microsoft Office tools
  • Undertake occasional site visits to support technical understanding 
  • Keep up to date with changes in retrofit, insulation and renewable standards 
  • Assist with Solar Technical Coordinator

Schedule

The Senior Installation Operations Manager will be based at the Aran Insulation Head office Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however on occasions it will be required to work outside these hours and away from the head office. Staff are required to attend occasional training courses, conferences and meetings that may necessitate staying away from home overnight.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (9am  - 5pm)
