Join Our Team as a Retail Team Leader!
Do you have a passion for excellent customer service and experience leading others in a fast-paced retail environment? Carrs Pasties Ltd is looking for a motivated and confident Retail Team Leader to support and guide our store team.

Hours:
Friday | 11.00am - 6.30pm
Saturday | 11.00am - 6.30pm
Sunday | 10.00am - 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, ensuring customers receive prompt, friendly, and high-quality service.
  • Support the Store Manager with daily operations, staff coordination, and maintaining company standards, including taking responsibility during the manager’s absence. 
  • Support and oversee Retail Shop Assistants during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, correctly and on time.
  • Handle payments accurately and complete cashing up at the end of each day.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Promote special offers, encourage upselling, and ensure excellent product knowledge across the team.
  • Maintain outstanding shop presentation and uphold food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage customer orders, resolve issues professionally, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with management and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Experience in retail or food service, ideally with supervisory or team-leading experience.
  • Ability to stay positive, respectful, and calm during busy periods.
  • Well-presented and able to represent the company’s values at all times.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold team members accountable and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Reliable, organised, and confident in taking initiative.
