Job Purpose
The Education and Community Project Worker will play a pivotal role in transforming lives through education and community engagement.
You’ll lead impactful initiatives that empower children, young people, and diverse communities to thrive.
By delivering innovative programmes, fostering
strong relationships with local organisations, schools, volunteers, and service users, you will create meaningful opportunities for learning, personal growth, and lifelong development.

The role will require regular weekday, evenings and weekend delivery, with travel to multiple sites across our geographical footprint.

Key Responsibilities
1. Record and monitor programme outcomes and impact through pre-designed questionnaires and case studies, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
2. Regularly assess the success and impact of sessions delivered, using participant feedback and performance data to inform future programme development.
3. Promote and uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion across all programmes and activities.
4. Deliver and support the development of curriculum and extra-curricular activities for children and young people, ensuring all sessions are tailored to the unique needs of participants.
5. Assist in the organisation and delivery of PE CPD events for staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
6. Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of education and community-based projects.
7. Deliver Workshops, events and outreach activities tailored to community needs
8. Support the development of learning materials and resources for formal and informal education settings.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with local residents, community groups and partner organisations.
10. Promote active participation in programmes and services through effective communication and outreach.
11. Act as a point of contact for participants, providing guidance, support and signposting to relevant services
12. Organise and maintain necessary equipment, ensuring all items are in good working condition and available for sessions.
13. Collaborate with the Programme Lead to promote Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Inspires, Premier League Kicks and other activities, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
14. Act as the main point of contact for programme participants and their families, addressing enquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
15. Provide regular updates to the Foundations management team and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational goals.
16. Represent the Foundation in meetings, both internally and externally, promoting the values and objectives of the organisation.
17. Assist in the preparation of reports, case studies and presentations for stakeholders and funders.
18. Ensure that all programme activities are conducted in a safe and supportive environment, adhering to the highest safeguarding standards.
19. Maintain up to date information in line with GDPR requirements, ensuring all personal data is handled securely and confidentially.
20. Apply Health & Safety standards across all aspects of the programme, ensuring the wellbeing of all participants and staff.
General
21. Undertake any relevant training as required by the Line Manager or in line with the expectations of the funding provider.
22. Represent the Foundation in meetings at the request of the Line Manager or Senior Management Team.
23. Promote company values and behaviours across the organisation.

25. Champion the highest safeguarding standards in line with company policies and practice guidelines.
26. Carry out any additional work or duties as required that meet the needs of the organisation.

Internal: All Community Foundation Staff and Trustees.

External: Cardiff City FC Staff, English Football League Trust, other external training ,education
providers and community partners.
