The Retail & Ticketing Executive plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional matchday and non-matchday experience for supporters, while driving revenue across retail and ticketing operations. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and optimisation of ticket sales and retail activities, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction and alignment with the club’s commercial objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

Ticketing 
  • Manage ticket inventory, allocations, and sales across all fixtures (league, cup and friendlies) 
  • Administer ticketing systems (e.g. Ticketmaster or equivalent), ensuring accurate event setup, pricing and seating configurations 
  • Coordinate season ticket renewals, membership schemes and general sale windows 
  • Support away fixture ticket allocations and liaise with opposing clubs. 
  • Handle ticketing enquiries and resolve customer issues professionally and promptly 
  • Produce regular sales reports and analysis to monitor performance and identify improvements 
  • Assist with matchday ticketing operations, including box office support and issue resolution 

Retail 
  • Support the operation of the club shop (stadium and/or online), ensuring high standards of merchandising and customer service 
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management and coordinate replenishment 
  • Process online orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently 
  • Collaborate on product launches, promotions and seasonal campaigns 
  • Ensure retail displays are visually appealing and aligned with club branding 
  • Analyse sales trends to support product selection and pricing strategies 

What We’re Looking For 
We are looking for someone to deliver outstanding supporter service across all touchpoints (in-person, phone and digital).  
 
Key Skills & Experience 
  • Previous experience in ticketing, retail, or customer service (sports or events industry preferred) 
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms and retail systems 
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving 
  • Ability to work under pressure, particularly on matchdays and peak sales periods 
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; CRM systems preferred) 
  • Flexible working required, including evenings, weekends and matchdays 

Desirable 
  • Experience within a professional sports club or live events environment 
  • Knowledge of EFL regulations and matchday operations 
  • Passion for football and understanding of fan culture
