Imps Territory is one of the most ambitious stadium transformation projects in the EFL - a major investment in premium hospitality, conferencing, events and supporter experience designed to create a world-class destination venue in the heart of Lincoln.
We are looking for an energetic, commercially driven Commercial Executive to build and scale a significant non-matchday events business from the ground up.
This is not a traditional football hospitality role. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, proactive and relationship-led who thrives on outbound sales, building pipelines, creating opportunities and turning the Imps Territory vision into revenue.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and commercialising a new premium events proposition during an exciting period of growth and transformation for the Club.
The Role
The Commercial Executive will lead the proactive sales and commercial development of Imps Territory’s non-matchday events offering.
This includes driving revenue across:

- Corporate events
- Weddings & celebrations
- Private hire
- Christmas parties
- Live events & entertainment
- Fan village activations
- Premium hospitality experiences
The role will focus heavily on outbound business development, strategic relationship building, local and regional networking, pipeline generation and converting opportunities into long-term commercial value.
The successful candidate will work closely with Marketing & Communications, Hospitality, Operations and Commercial Partnerships teams to position Imps Territory as one of the region’s leading destination venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-quality events sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM
- Drive proactive outbound business development activity across regional corporate and consumer markets
- Generate new event opportunities through networking, prospecting and relationship management
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and long-term client relationships
- Develop and deliver sales and marketing strategies to support ambitious non-matchday revenue targets
- Conduct venue tours, presentations and client meetings
- Collaborate with the MarComms team on campaigns, launches and promotional activity
- Work alongside operational and hospitality teams to ensure exceptional client experience
- Support the launch and commercialisation of new premium hospitality and events spaces
- Identify opportunities for new products, experiences and revenue streams
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and pipeline visibility through CRM systems
- Represent the Club and Imps Territory professionally across events and business communities

- High energy and self-motivation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
