Lincoln City Football Club (LCFC) is an ambitious, community-driven football club with a proud heritage and a clear vision for growth on and off the pitch.  We are seeking a confident and proactive commercial sales executive to join our existing team to:

  • Drive new business B2B sales across LCFC’s commercial portfolio, including partnerships, sponsorships, advertising and corporate hospitality 
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities while creating innovative ideas to maximise commercial revenue and activation value 
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective partners to support revenue growth, renewals and long-term commercial success

  • Relationships - ability to build/maintain/develop relationships with current and new partners
  • Commercial product knowledge - understanding of the business and all commercial products
  • Sales – ability to drive new business from prospecting through to close 
  • Positive feedback - feedback received from The Board, managers, colleagues and customers

Main Duties
  • Alongside the Head of Commercial, drive new business B2B sales including partnerships, sponsorships, advertising, commercial events and corporate hospitality  
  • Be confident in managing the full end-to-end sales process 
  • Take ownership of sales pipeline and actively drive pipeline discipline 
  • Be able to work with the Commercial department's CRM system and technology stack, ensuring inputs are consistently up to date 
  • Be present at all home match days to support sponsor involvement 
  • Be a key part to delivering the highest quality matchday experience for matchday sponsors and corporate hospitality guests
  • Work closely with marketing, communications, retail, hospitality, ticketing and matchday operations to drive partnership, sponsorship and corporate hospitality sales 
  • Work closely with partnership delivery team to understand further partner sales opportunities 
  • Support the Head of Commercial and wider commercial team with any other commercial support needed to achieve the commercial team’s objectives
  • Be key to maintaining a high renewal rate across the Commercial department 
  • General administration as and when required

Experience & Qualifications 
  • Experience of working in a B2B sales environment 
  • Experience of working in a sports environment 
  • Sound knowledge and an understanding of excellent customer service within a sales environment

  • Ability to build excellent working relationships  
  • Ability to confidently manage the end-to-end sales process  
  • Resilient and determined sales attitude 
  • Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude with drive and self-motivation 
  • IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage a busy pipeline and multiple sales at once 
  • Solution focused mindset 
  • Full UK Driving licence required
