As a member of the Children and Family Centre management team, you will support and develop a team of Family and Community Connectors, Centre and Volunteer Co-ordinators, and Volunteers in creating open access centres, embedded and connected to their neighbourhoods with a thriving community led timetable of activities and services. Using Asset Based Community Development principles your strategy will build upon the strengths of local people and organisations, become immersed in your community and connect with local stakeholders, schools, community organisations, and people.

Your Centre and Volunteer Coordinators are looking inside the centres to ensure everything is running smoothly, people are welcomed and it is a safe environment. Your connectors are looking outwards and building relationships with local people and stakeholders. You will oversee both aspects and make sure that the two centres you lead thrive. The two centres will be The Link in Matson and Finlay in White City.

You are joining a team of three Community Managers (one in the Forest of Dean and two in Gloucester). Each have fantastic strengths and to complement this we are looking for someone with excellent volunteer management experience and a strong understanding of food systems and the impact of food poverty.
