Lincoln City FC is seeking a Physical Performance Coach (Rehab/S&C) to lead the strength and conditioning provision and end-stage rehabilitation process. This unique role bridges the gap between the sport science and the medical departments looking to maximise physical performance of players in multiple settings.
Roles & responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of strength and conditioning programmes (pre-training sessions and post-training sessions) for all players to optimise physical performance
- Work closely with the first team sport scientist to utilise testing data to help inform individualised programme design
- Liaise with the Head of Sport Science to ensure high quality delivery and optimised physical periodisation throughout a training week
- Liaise with Head of Medical, first team physio and the performance rehabilitation therapist to plan and deliver end-stage on field rehabilitation sessions
- Assist in the design and delivery of gym-based rehabilitation sessions
- Work closely with the first team sport scientist to monitor and manage the training load of all grass-based rehabs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Undergraduate degree in sport science, sport therapy and rehabilitation, strength and conditioning or related subject
- Experience designing and delivering strength and conditioning provision within professional sport
- Experience leading outdoor rehabilitation sessions
Desirable
- Postgraduate degree in related subject
- Strength and Conditioning accreditation
- Experience working within professional football
