What are we looking for?
We are looking to appoint a Logistics Assistant on a fixed-term contract who will support the Hospitality Executive in the delivery of RIAT 26,
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out all Site related tasks allocated from Site Office
- Ensuring the safe build of the RIAT Showground
- Carrying out manual handling tasks
- Driving of site vehicles and forklifts (if licenced)
- Ensuring all areas are built under CDM Regulations 2015
- Ensuring a safe recovery of site infrastructure and site

FTC 22/06/2026 until 07/08/2026
36.25 hours per week. Based in Fairford, Gloucestershire
All employees are required to work the Saturday or Sunday before the Royal International Air Tattoo and the whole weekend of the event.

About you:
We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused individual with a minimum of five GCSEs (or national equivalent) and a full UK driving licence to join our team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of construction site environments and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You’ll be organised and capable of prioritising tasks in a fast‑paced setting, while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety at all times. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn are essential. A forklift licence and prior RIAT knowledge or experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
