This role is for a full-time permanent Mortgage Processor based on a hybrid basis in Melton Mowbray and is an excellent opportunity for a process driven team player with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
About the position
As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day processing of new mortgage applications and completions within agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
- Supporting brokers through the registration of DIPs and the application process.
- Collection and processing of fees
- Completing relevant searches on correct platforms.
- Maintaining contact with all parties to keep them fully informed of the progress towards completion.
- Managing and supporting self-build applications through development of the build.
- Understanding offer conditions, communicate with all parties concisely.
- Satisfying and confirming offer conditions.
- Reviewing COTs and preparing applications for funds release.
- Preparing and checking first payment letters.
- Proactively challenging and developing new ways to deliver every customer an excellent experience in line with the Consumer Duty framework.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services, systems, procedures and policies.
- Ensuring the Society’s values are maintained and in line with meeting our business requirements.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints at the first point of contact.
- Maintaining knowledge and understanding of all products, services, criteria and procedures.
- Identifying further opportunities to support the customer journey.

Experience
· Experience in customer service
· Administration experience is beneficial
· Experience in Financial Services is advantageous
· Knowledge of mortgages is desirable but not essential
