Role Summary
The SSAS Sales Support Assistant provides essential administrative and technical support to the SSAS sales and new business function. The role supports Business Development Managers and advisers by ensuring new SSAS enquiries are progressed efficiently, accurately and in line with HMRC requirements and internal procedures and standards.

Key Accountabilities
SSAS Sales & New Business Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the SSAS sales support team
Assist with the progression of new SSAS enquiries from initial contact and through transfer to the New Business Team Prepare and issue SSAS onboarding documentation via our in-house platform, including proposals, application forms and related take-on documentation and gather other information required for scheme set-up and initial transactions
Pipeline & Data Management
Maintain accurate records of new business activity in accordance with departmental processes. Update pipeline trackers, ensuring opportunities and key milestones are recorded correctly
Assist where required in producing management information and reports relating to SSAS new business activity
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all information required is complete, accurate and in line with HMRC rules and internal procedures
Support anti-money laundering (AML), identity verification and due diligence checks
Escalate any risks, inconsistencies or non-standard requests to the Sales Support Manager and/or the Director of Sales Stakeholder Support
Act as a point of contact for advisers and introducers in relation to routine SSAS new business queries
Liaise with the New Business Team to ensure a smooth handover from prospect to onboarding
Support the Business Development/Sales team by coordinating information and documentation Team & Personal Development
Work collaboratively within the Sales Support and Sales teams to meet service levels and deadlines
Develop technical knowledge of SSAS arrangements, transactions and regulatory requirements
Participate in training, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required
Essential

Experience in an administrative or support role within financial services, pensions or a professional services environment Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail  Confident written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Good level of IT literacy
Desirable
Exposure to SSAS, SIPP or pensions administration
Experience working with advisers, accountants or solicitors
Familiarity with CRM systems and document management tools Personal Attributes
Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
Client-focused with a professional and helpful approach
Comfortable working in a regulated environment with high standards of accuracy

Qualification Requirements
Proven levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE passes in English and Maths or equivalent)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
