If so, we're looking for a full time (35 hours per week working on a rota shift pattern) catering team assistant working in our fantastic Café at Standalone Farm.
Our catering team members prepare and serve our food providing much needed refreshments to our visitors and fueling them for the rest of their visit!
THE ROLE
Prepare, cook and serve food and beverages in line with standards.
Assist with the delivery and storage of stock, stock control and stock taking.
Ensure all tasks are completed in line with statutory Food Hygiene regulations and our own internal policies and documentation requirements.
Support the Catering Manager with training staff in food, health and safety and other process and procedures relating to the Cafe.
Problem solve any difficulties or issues that arise in line with policy, procedures and management support.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have catering experience and customer service skills.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
- Able to use own initiative to solve problems and achieve required outcomes.
- Due to the nature of the role flexibility will be required, appreciated, and reciprocated.
