A minimum commitment of one half day shift per week
Mon, Tues, Thursday, Fri / 9:30am – 12:30pm

Mon, Tues, Thursday, Fri / 12:30-3:30pm
Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Assisting and serving customers, providing a high standard of customer service
· Helping with stock processing, including sorting, cleaning, pricing and stacking.
· To assist with the display of stock, so that the shop looks inviting.
· Cash handling and accurate operation of the till, once training has taken place.
· Keeping the shop premises clean and tidy.
· Working positively as a team alongside the other Food Community staff and volunteers.
· Supporting new members to sign up and explaining how the pantry works.
· Greeting visitors and signpost to other services if necessary.
Training and support
· Attend any relevant training and refresher sessions
· Undertake Mandatory training as relevant to your role
· Full support will be provided from the team

All volunteers will be required to complete a DBS check and complete and receive a certificate & complete an Induction before volunteering can commence,
The cost and organisation of the DBS check is covered by The Brick
