Role Overview
Lincoln City FC is seeking an experienced Head of Facilities and Compliance to lead facilities compliance, health and safety governance and audit readiness across all club sites.
This is a senior, hands on role with responsibility for ensuring the club operates safely, compliantly, and is fully prepared for regulatory, insurance and football governing body scrutiny at all times.
The role works closely with the Safety and Senior Leadership teams, supporting stadium and event safety by ensuring the physical environment, facilities and documentation are robust, compliant and inspection ready.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities and Compliance Leadership
- Lead facilities compliance across the LNER Stadium, EPC Training Ground and Academy
- Ensure all buildings, infrastructure, plant and operational environments are safe, compliant and well maintained
- Maintain club wide compliance frameworks and facilities governance standards
- Act as the central owner of facilities related compliance and risk registers
Health and Safety
- Lead facilities related health and safety compliance across all sites
- Ensure statutory inspections, testing and certification are completed and recorded
- Manage Legionella risk assessments, monitoring programmes and remedial actions
- Ensure compliance with COSHH, PUWER, LOLER and general workplace safety requirements
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place for all facilities activities
Audit Readiness and Governance
- Maintain a fully audit ready facilities and compliance environment
- Prepare and manage documentation for SAG, EFL, insurers, local authorities and external auditors
- Track and close actions arising from inspections, audits and reviews
- Ensure all compliance records, certificates and evidence are accurate, current and accessible
Support to the Safety Team
- Work in close partnership with the Safety team to support safe stadium and event operations
- Provide facilities related evidence and documentation required for SAG and matchday planning
- Support delivery of safe ingress, egress, evacuation and crowd management through compliant infrastructure
Contractor and Facilities Team Management
- Lead and manage the facilities team across all club sites
- Procure, manage and monitor contractors and suppliers
- Ensure contractor compliance, inductions, insurance and performance standards are met
- Ensure all works are planned, documented and safely delivered
Reporting and Leadership
- Report to the COO on compliance status, risks and mitigation plans
- Provide clear written updates for senior leadership and board review
- Escalate risks early with practical and proportionate solutions
Person Specification
- Proven experience in facilities management and compliance within a regulated environment
- Experience working alongside Safety team, officers or event safety professionals
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and governance
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
- Strong audit, documentation and evidence management capability
- Experience supporting inspections, audits and regulatory scrutiny
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities
- Experience working within professional football, sport or large public venues
- Knowledge of SAG, Green Guide, EFL and Academy compliance environments
