Role Summary
To deliver Cambridge United Foundation’s Premier League Kicks programme, delivering sports sessions to young people between the ages of 8 – 18.
Hours
5 hours/week with possibility of increasing.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Providing a high-quality experience to young people aged 8 to 18 years old across our Premier League Kicks delivery.
- Delivering both sport-based and personal development sessions with an inclusive approach during community hours.
- Building strong and positive relationships with young people, their families.
- Administration of all registers for sessions delivered.
- Input of required data for attendance and impact measurement.
- To meet/exceed the KPI targets to be agreed with the Football Development Officer.
- Promotion of all Company activities and programmes by appropriate means. 
- Adhere to Foundation safeguarding policy, keeping participants wellbeing at the heart of our work. 

Person Specification
The postholder will be an individual who is passionate about the immense power of sport to inspire and engage. They will be dedicated to supporting individuals develop their overall wellbeing and to recognise their full potential.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
Good standard of education in English and Maths -GCSE level.
First aid certificate (or willingness to undertake)
Current safeguarding certificate (or willingness to undertake)
Current driving licence, with use of own car
FA Level 1 football coaching
Enhanced DBS with barred lists check on appointment 
Desired
Degree in related subject area
Playing for Inclusion module 1 (or willingness to undertake)
Mental Health First Aider (or willingness to undertake)
FA Level 2/UEFA C qualification

Knowledge and Experience
Essential
An understanding of child protection and safeguarding children regulations and DBS requirements
The ability to enthuse and motivate participants
Competent IT skills
Desired
Significant and successful experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
Be able to deliver high quality sessions & lessons
Experience of working with young people and adults with learning difficulties
Experience of working in diverse communities, understanding and overcoming the impact of discrimination
Knowledge of Cambridge and its surrounding areas
