The Door of Hope Manager will:

  • Manage the Door of Hope team and implement the charity’s vision in East London. 
  • Be passionate about supporting women facing multiple disadvantages, as well as being able to lead and manage a team delivering support work in the community, within a trauma-informed framework. 
  • Be responsible for oversight of the team of volunteers who regularly deliver our street outreach sessions. 
  • Have excellent leadership, management and communication skills and be able to champion the cause both with staff and with external agencies. 

Who are we looking for…

This role would suit a compassionate and and thoughtful individual with experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls sector. 

You will:

  • Have extensive experience of supporting women who face multiple disadvantages 
  • Have a solid understanding of the Violence Against Women and Girls sector and the systems affecting women facing sexual exploitation. 
  • Be skilled at building partnerships and advocating for women 
  • Be passionate about equality diversion and inclusion 
  • Have a sound knowledge of safeguarding policies and processes

All roles are subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
