We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our recently established Contentious Probate and Disputes team.


 Due to increased workload for this new team, we are looking for a diligent and ambitious paralegal to support the Contentious Probate and Disputes, Head of Department. This is a chance to be part of a growing team from the very beginning, helping to shape its success and reputation.

As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Head of Department, providing essential support on a wide range of complex and interesting cases. General Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Assist in managing contentious probate and inheritance dispute matters from inception to resolution, including attendance at court hearings and mediations.
  • Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court forms; prepare bundles for hearings and mediations.
  • Client Support: Liaise with clients to gather information, provide updates, draft witness statements and handle initial queries professionally.
  • Court & Administrative Duties: File documents with courts and manage e-filing systems.
  • Compliance & Billing: Maintain accurate time records, assist with billing processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory and firm policies.
  • Deadline Management: Monitor and manage key dates, ensuring compliance with court timetables and procedural rules.

  • Organised and detail-oriented in handling tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Able to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.

 Essential:

 Desirable:

  • Experience within the legal sector
  • Familiarity with digital case management tools and modern legal tech
