We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Support Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 IT qualification

This is an entry level role in which you will play a key role in supporting the Foundations technology infrastructure. Reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, you will work closely with internal staff and external partners to ensure smooth employee onboarding, system access, and day-to-day IT operations. 

This role offers a unique blend of technical learning and practical experience across a modern Microsoft-based environment.

Working hours are 35 per week over five days normally 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one day per week dedicated to studies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide first-line IT support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, etc.).
  • Support network and system administration tasks.
  • Help maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation.
  • Learn and apply best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing your time effectively.
  • GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent in Math's and English
  • GCSE in Computer Science – desirable
