Are you a highly motivated self-starter ready to prove the value of a new, pivotal role? CRASAC (Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre) is looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer to shape our public identity and strategy within the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector. You'll be instrumental in driving awareness, enhancing fundraising appeal, and positioning us as a key voice in conversations about sexual violence support. This is a fixed-term (1 year) role, 25-30 hours per week, with a salary of £32,597 (pro-rata) and hybrid working options available.

You'll develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to meet our goals. This includes overseeing all digital channels (website, social media, e-newsletter), leading on sensitive storytelling while protecting anonymity, building relationships with local media, creating and promoting fundraising campaigns, and strengthening partnerships with local business, universities and community groups. We need someone with proven experience in marketing strategy, exceptional written communication skills, and the ability to use analytics for data-driven decisions.

If you have a deep commitment to the VAWG sector and are ready to be an ambitious driver of strategy, we strongly encourage you to apply—you do not need to meet 100% of the criteria listed. Your willingness and ability to learn quickly is essential

This post is restricted to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 3. As a Rape Crisis Centre, our primary mission is to provide trauma-informed specialist services, which are accessed by approximately 90% female survivors.
The successful applicant will require unrestricted access and presence within our dedicated women-only spaces and may conduct sensitive one-to-one interviews with female service users for communication purposes.
