For—the Responsibilities
As Remedial Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping our remedial operations and driving excellence across every project. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing remedial team, setting clear expectations and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor through regular 1:1s and performance reviews, while identifying skills gaps and delivering targeted training to help your team grow.
- Champion safety and compliance, ensuring every project meets health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Act as the trusted point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing expectations with professionalism and confidence.
- Collaborate across departments, working closely with operations and estimation teams to ensure seamless handovers and alignment.
- Plan and oversee remedial works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive innovation and efficiency by identifying trends, root causes, and implementing proactive solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, making strategic purchasing decisions and negotiating with suppliers to optimise cost and quality.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, forecast resource needs, and make strategic decisions that support business growth.
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation, and risk registers to ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, reduce costs, and maximise operational efficiency.

- Facilities Management Expertise – Proven experience delivering remedial or minor works in FM, Building Services, or M&E environments.
- Planning & Problem-Solving – You’re organized, proactive, and always ready to tackle challenges head-on.
- Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of building services (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fabric). An HNC/HND in Building Services is a plus.
- Safety First – NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred but not essential.
