The Role
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Support Coordinator to join our Commercial team. You’ll underpin our Account Desk operations, working closely with the Account Manager and Commercial Manager to deliver outstanding customer experience, seamless sales administration and efficient support to our business development team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage inbound sales enquiries and allocate leads via CRM, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Prepare and issue quotes, proposals and order confirmations within agreed service levels.
- Maintain hire management system records.
- Liaise between sales (BDMs), account management, operations and finance to ensure smooth fulfilment of customer orders.
- Track outstanding quotes and collaborate to maximise conversion rates.
- Produce weekly reports on hire and client activity, monitor KPIs (quote turnaround, data integrity, customer satisfaction) and assist identifying improvements.
- Support process improvement initiatives, recommend CRM enhancements or automation opportunities.
Key Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales coordination, account support or service desk role within a technical, B2B or service-led environment.
- Skilled with CRM platforms (experience of Pipedrive or equivalent desirable) and comfortable in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail, able to prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communicator (written & verbal) with a customer-centric mindset.
- Positive, proactive and collaborative team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
