As part of the Bank team, you will be able to cover ad-hoc shifts to cover sickness or annual leave. This is a Casual Worker role.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen BANK team.
Summary of duties
To undertake general kitchen duties within the Hospice and support the delivery of high-quality individualised meals to meet patients’ specific nutritional requirements. Working collaboratively within the kitchen team and the wider team to uphold the hospice’s values and ethos of Care, Compassion and Kindness.
Do you have the following skills
· Basic food preparation and cooking techniques
· Ability to use and maintain kitchen equipment
· Basic knowledge of food service
· Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
· Great interpersonal skills to interact within the kitchen team, wider hospice team, volunteers, patients and their families.
· A great team player
Qualifications needed
· Food hygiene level 2 is desirable, however full training will be given.
