An opportunity has arisen to join our progressive and talented media and marketing team. We are proud and ambitious and looking for a creative, driven and football-savvy Video Content Producer to help bring our club’s story to life – on and off the pitch.

You’ll play a key role in developing high-quality video content that engages our supporters, enhances our brand, and helps take our media output to the next level.

The Role
This role will provide support to the media team on First team, Under-21s and Under-18's. You will actively go out and film footage that will be used across the Football Club’s social media platforms and Posh+ service.

You will be able to act independently as a camera operator whilst understanding your role within a wider team. You’ll not just be responsible for shooting games but also capturing content around the matchday and training when required that helps tell the club’s story to supporters and wider stakeholders.

The successful person will have a passion for filming high quality video footage, you love to be creative. Ideally you have previous experience filming sport. You have good people skills so you can communicate with the team about their requirements in order to produce innovative content. This role requires flexibility with working hours. The ability to work some evenings and weekends including first team match days to meet the needs of the business will be required. 

If you have a portfolio of high-quality video footage, a strong understanding of live broadcast principles, experience using semi-pro or pro camcorders and experience in handling video briefs and proactively working with clients/stakeholders to outline a clear production plan then we would love to hear from you. 

 Duties 
  • To generate ideas for content styling and editing 
  • To work with the Media & Marketing Team and produce all relevant content for the club’s social feeds, allowing their focus to be on delivering the content and agreed club tone-of-voice 
  • To assist with production & editing of all club-shot video content 
  • To lead the development of archive content, sourcing material from internal catalogues and external sources (e.g. EFL/broadcast partners) 
  • To develop relationships with key playing and management staff to ensure smooth execution of all shoots 
  • To ensure that all video output is optimised by channel in length (long-/short-form) & format (landscape / portrait / square) 
  • Collaborate across the Media & Marketing team to ensure digital activation meets KPIs
  • Improve existing content platforms to boost fan interaction and engagement
  • Drive consistent growth across the Club’s video channels including Posh+, X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Deliver a consistent brand presentation for the club across all video content
  • Responsible for setting a high-quality threshold for video content and work with partners across the business to help ensure collaborative projects consistently reach that threshold
  • Continuously benchmark and measure video content performance and adapt strategies to ensure the club is always at the forefront of delivery
  • Produce, direct and edit a bi-weekly show for Posh+ on a weekly basis, with a 2/3-camera set-up.
  • Film using multiple camera set-up
  • To work with the football club’s commercial and marketing teams to produce content where relevant.

Other responsibilities 
  • Be available to travel to all matches and venues
  • Work flexibly as and when required to meet the needs of the club
  • Be aware of the PUFC policies, procedures & best practise so that concerns of non-compliance can be raised
  • Work within the company policies and processes. Seek advice & guidance if required ensuring employees and processes work seamlessly together
  • Attend meetings, training and professional updating as and when required
  • To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
  • To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
  • Adhere to and support the club’s Equality and Diversity , Health and Safety and Safeguarding policies. 

About You

Experience and Qualification
  • Minimum of one year experience of working in Social Media / Media / Communications environments, preferably within sport
  • A strong showreel and body of relevant work 
  • Experience in filming match action from gantry position and pitch side 
  • Experience of capturing video in a live venue setting 
  • Experience of video capture and editing with working knowledge of key video production software 
  • Experience of working with key IT packages on both Mac & PC, in particular video / photo editing software especially Adobe Premiere Pro & Microsoft Office etc. 
  • Ability to work matchdays (including pre- & post-match and evenings) for both home and away games as well as other Club events that may fall outside normal working hours
  • Full UK driving licence or ability to travel various locations due to the demands of the role
