Join Us as a Product Lead – Drive Inclusive and Impactful Product Innovation
We’re looking for a Product Lead to take ownership of developing, managing, and delivering our product strategy and roadmap. In this role, you’ll ensure our products are inclusive, fit for purpose, meet regulatory requirements, and align with Gateway Qualifications’ Strategic Plan, making a meaningful impact in the education and skills sector.
You’ll lead the development of innovative and accessible products that support diverse learner needs. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help shape solutions that reflect the evolving education landscape and promote equity.
Who We’re Looking For

- Experience in product development within an awarding organisation or similar education-related role.
- Experience developing a range of product types, specifically Apprenticeship assessments and other regulated qualifications and non-regulated provision.
- Experience identifying sector needs and producing robust business cases.
- Experience with product lifecycle design and implementation.
- Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills
- Understanding of post-16 education.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including General Conditions of Recognition (GCoR).
- Creativity and originality in approach.
- Attention to detail and proofreading skills.

At Gateway Qualifications you’ll be mainly based at home and will therefore need a reliable, high speed internet connection and a quiet, suitably furnished, place to work. You must be able to commute to our Colchester office as required.
