Producer
Overview:
As a Producer at Secret Mode, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You’ll take ownership of production schedules, lead cross-functional collaboration, and work directly with our partner studios and developers to keep development on track. Acting as a trusted bridge between creative teams and publishing stakeholders, you’ll oversee milestones, manage risks, and champion process improvements that help our games and teams thrive.
This role sits between Associate Producer and Senior Producer. You’ll be expected to operate with autonomy, driving projects forward while also supporting Senior Producers and Associates where needed.
In your new role you will:
- Own project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality builds.
- Be the primary production contact for one or more projects, maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with partner studios.
- Facilitate communication between development teams and internal departments (QA, Marketing, Localisation, etc.), ensuring alignment across publishing.
- Assess milestone submissions, coordinate feedback, and provide clear reports to leadership.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, working with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Support live release management including patches, updates, and DLC.
- Champion process improvements across teams, helping to streamline workflows and communication.
To be successful you will have:
- 3+ years of production experience in the games industry, with at least one shipped title.
- Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle stages and production methodologies
- Experience creating and maintaining schedules, budgets, and milestone plans.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across disciplines and departments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Confidence in assessing project health and escalating issues when needed.
- A collaborative, positive approach that builds trust with colleagues and external partners.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with console submissions and certification processes.
- Familiarity with localisation pipelines
- Previous experience in games publishing.
Hybrid:
- This role will require you to be onsite at our Leamington studio several times per month.
