An exciting Volunteer opportunity has arisen within the Peterborough United Women's team to be part of their match day team.

The Role
To support the smooth running of matches and ensure a welcoming environment.
Duties
To support the smooth running of matches and ensure a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Crowd awareness - guide and control the flow of spectators, preventing overcrowding and ensuring safe movement within the stadium.
- Safety Monitoring - identify and report potential hazards, such as trip hazards or fire risks, and respond to incidents like medical emergencies or minor fires. Oversee the usage of the bouncy castle.
- Customer Service - Stewards provide information to spectators, assist with queries, and ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
- Compliance - ensure that spectators adhere to stadium regulations and guidelines.
- Reporting - responsible for completing incident reports and communicating relevant information to supervisors.
- Emergency Response - assist with evacuations or other emergency procedures under the guidance of the Safety Officer.
- Teamwork - work closely with other staff and emergency services to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
About You
The successful person will be enthusiastic and be happy to work as part of a wider team.
Essential experience, qualifications and skills
Essential experience, qualifications and skills
- FA DBS check (we will obtain this for you)
- Experience of working in football
- Proactive & Professional
- Understanding of match day safety (training will also be provided)
- Level 2 certificate in spectator safety (desirable only)
