About Role
The Head of ImpactReady is responsible for the delivery of all Evaluation contracts, as well as the development, growth and scaling of our ImpactReady software product. As Head of ImpactReady, you will be the operational and strategic lead for our Evaluation consultancy services. You will oversee our portfolio of client contracts, ensure highest quality of delivery, and be the primary point of contact for high-level customer relationships. This role blends contract management, team leadership, business development, and innovation, including driving integration between our consultancy work and our ImpactReady software platform.
Purpose of role
1. Evaluation Portfolio Leadership – oversee the management of all consultancy contracts, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
2. Client Relationship Management – Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and resolving contractual or delivery matters.
3. ImpactReady Licenses - Contribute to and oversee the development and implementation of high quality onboarding, management and retention of customers on the ImpactReady software platform
4. Team Leadership & Mentoring – Support, guide, and mentor our consultancy team to achieve high standards in delivery and professional growth.
5. Business Development – contribute to tender submissions, proposals, and sales activity to grow our consultancy and license portfolio.
6. Ambassadorial Role – Represent ImpactReady at sector events, conferences, and in strategic stakeholder meetings.
7. Integration & Innovation – Work with our software team to embed consultancy into the ImpactReady platform and to drive the further development of the platform’s key features, user stories and functionalities ensuring clients get a seamless, joined-up service.
8. Collaborate – work closely with the company directors and cross business senior leadership team to deliver the company's overall strategic vision and goals for the ImpactReady division and for the company more broadly.
Role Description and Responsibilities
• Work to an agreed budget and targets as set by the Company Directors.
• Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to develop new partnerships and drive software license sales and new evaluation opportunities
• Work closely with the Product Manager to inform feature developments and the ImpactReady roadmap
• Oversee day-to-day operations of Evaluation Consultancy services, ensuring the company meets its financial, operational, and growth targets
• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight on all Impact and Evaluation services
• Foster a culture of innovation to drive continuous improvements in features, processes, systems and products/outputs within Impact and Evaluation services
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team and other company services to achieve company wide targets and objectives
• Work with Head of Operations to ensure effective implementation of company policies, processes and systems
• Develop and review staff performance such as mentoring and recruiting staff
• Liaise with S3 Finance manager and directors to oversee invoicing and financial management of Impact and Evaluation services, optimising profitability
• Provide monthly and quarterly reports to consulting directors on overall progress
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Impact, Evaluation, Social Value and CSR both personally and within the team
Qualifications
Essential
· BSc Hons in a relevant discipline

· MSc or Equivalent Level qualification

• Team management experience, preferably in a consultancy and/or SaaS environment
• Business planning, budgeting, and financial management experience
• Experience of creating and improving business processes, and generating efficient, profitable and sustainable ways of working
• Experience of supporting the growth and development of people
• Genuine interest and expertise in the community & voluntary and public sectors particularly in the field of Impact, Evaluation and Social Value
• Experience of working in a smaller (SME) business environment
