Argyle Community Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced South Devon Participation Programme Lead to lead and grow our PE and extra-curricular school programmes, football development pathways, and holiday provisions across South Devon. This includes key locations such as Newton Abbot, Totnes, Paignton, Brixham & Torquay.

As a registered charity working closely with Plymouth Argyle Football Club, the Trust engages communities through sport, using it as a powerful tool to inspire, educate, and connect people across a wide range of sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and development of school-based football development and holiday programmes for boys and girls in the South Devon region. You will work to promote participation across schools, sports facilities, and community settings – creating opportunities for all abilities, from grassroots to those on the elite player pathway. You’ll also support the development of early years provision in the local area.

This role requires close collaboration with schools, local authorities, Devon FA, and community sports providers. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for sport and youth development, with the drive to build partnerships that enhance the Trust’s local impact.

You will be expected to measure the success of your programmes against key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the Head of Participation and ensure the highest standards of delivery, safety, and impact reporting are consistently met.
