Role Summary
Cambridge United Football Club are offering several academy analysis volunteer opportunities for the 2025/26 season.
The successful candidate(s) will gain a first-hand experience of working within an elite academy analysis department. The candidate(s) will work closely alongside analysis, coaching and other sport science staff to provide analytical support to all academy age groups.
This role is aimed at people who are looking for volunteer opportunities alongside their studies or current work. The candidate(s) will gain valuable experience within an applied setting.
Key Role Outcomes
• Filming of home academy fixtures.
• Organisation of key equipment.
• Potential need to code matches
• Other ad-hoc tasks as and when requested by the lead academy analyst.

Person Specification
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience Required/ Desirable
Excellent written and verbal skills
Degree
Ability to code using various software
Ability to respond and react to deadlines that arise at short notice
FA Safeguarding Children
Experience using camera and videoing equipment
Experience working in a high performing environment
Has an understanding of how elite players are developed
Personal Qualities/Attributes
Hardworking and enthusiastic
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable and committed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Able to communicate effectively
Willingness to work weekday evenings
