It’s an exciting time for us at Standalone Farm, we have a new opportunity reporting directly to our Venues Manager,  working as part of a management team responsible for the full visitor journey at Standalone Farm and their ultimate enjoyment of the attraction. 

You will oversee the seamless delivery of our visitors and our visitors engagement programme throughout the year, to include the visitor experience, the retail offering and event planning.

You will manage our new Education and Learning Officer, and Visitor services Team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • to develop our visitor experience strategy 
  • lead and manage the Farm’s retail offering and events programmes, including management of the commercial budgets for the retail, events, private hires and educational programmes.
  • to manage and grow the Visitor Experience Department, championing excellence in
  • operational delivery, recruitment, training, customer best practice and visitor engagement initiatives.
  • Responsibility of setting team KPI’s and ensuring that deadlines are met within relevant time scales 
  • work in line with the company’s competencies and strategic vision, communicating these to your team. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in a management role 
  • The ability to bring strategic thinking 
  • Experience in retail sales and purchasing / buying 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively
