At Lincolnshire Herbs Ltd, we’re looking for a proactive and committed Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven HSE knowledge who’s either an experienced manager or ready to take the next step in their career.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve our Safety Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and internal policies.
  • Lead site-wide audits, inspections, and investigations, ensuring proactive risk management and timely corrective actions.
  • Deliver training, chair monthly H&S meetings, and promote a culture of safety across all departments.
  • Manage contractor safety, ensuring all third-party workers are properly assessed and inducted.
  • Track and report on leading and lagging HSE KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the HSE, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • The Operations Manager (your direct line manager)
  • Senior Management and Department Heads
  • Operational and Production Teams
  • Regulatory bodies and external contractors
🌟 What We’re Looking For

  • Strong working knowledge of HSE legislation and practices, ideally from a manufacturing, agriculture, or FMCG environment.
  • Solid experience in a health, safety, or environmental support or advisory role, with a desire to step up into a leadership position.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards it) would be advantageous.
