Position Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in accelerating our revenue growth and expanding our presence across key UK and international markets. 

You will play a key role in building early pipeline, developing strong customer relationships, and closing new business—initially focused on the financial services sector. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys balancing outreach and execution, and is excited to contribute to the foundation of a world-class sales organization.You'll work closely with our CRO and broader commercial team to drive opportunities from initial contact through to contract..

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic campaigns.
  • Lead sales engagements from discovery through to close, including demos, proof of concepts, proposals, pricing discussions, and negotiation.
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified leads in our CRM (Salesforce), providing accurate forecasting and maintaining data integrity.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Hoptroff’s precision timing solutions and be able to clearly communicate value to both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CRO to refine messaging, ICP targeting, and outbound strategy
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects and customers that lead to expansion opportunities and sustained revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and virtual forums
  • Stay informed of customer business opportunities, industry news and market developments and share information with the wider team.
  • Ensure compliance with all security systems and protocols

Key Competencies & Experience:
  • Proven of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or technical/enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle sales—from outreach and qualification to close
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual quotas and revenue targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and consultative selling abilities
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales engagement platforms
  • Graduate or equivalent with an aptitude and understanding a technology sales proposition (Science, Technology or Maths an advantage, but not essential)
  • Collaborative and eager to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Growth mindset with a desire for continuous improvement and learning.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with the financial services, media, or IoT sectors is a plus.

Hybrid working:
  • We are a hybrid company, so you will be working at home or in a local co-working space however, you will be expected to travel to client sites as required and deemed beneficial for the success of the account
  • Monthly Company sync meetings in the London office as well as team events 
  • Ad hoc customer meetings as required

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
