Working within one of our retail premises, the postholder will raise funds for Ardgowan Hospice through the sale of new and second-hand goods.
- Work within Hospice guidelines and policies to sell new and second hand goods to achieve annual sales targets.
- Maintenance of high levels of customer/donor care
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues
- Cash control and reconciliation promptly and accurately
- Promote Gift Aid sales
- Ensure pricing is correct Implementation of competitive pricing strategy
- Supervision and training of retail staff/volunteers
- Stock Control refreshing the merchandise regularly
- Ensure satisfactory compliance with trading standards, health & safety and fire safety policies
- Security and cleanliness of the shop
About you.
It’s very important that you are organised with an eye for detail, have experience in a retail environment and some supervisory experience.
