<div>Are you passionate about quality and ensuring high standards are met? We are looking for a dedicated <strong>Quality Auditor (QA) </strong>to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and improving the quality of our products while ensuring compliance with industry standards.<br><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>Work across three key areas on a rotating basis: raw material intake, cut production, and pot production.</li><li>Accurately process Raw Material Goods into the Rubicon system.</li><li>Conduct quality checks on intake, generate quality assessments with photographic evidence, and communicate results to suppliers.</li><li>Ensure all delivered goods (cut & pot) meet required specifications.</li><li>Audit the product journey through production, ensuring paperwork conformance.</li><li>Carry out a range of audits, including Internal Audits, GMP, and Quality audits.</li><li>Check codes, dates, labels, sleeves, and packaging, addressing any discrepancies.</li><li>Perform daily Quality stock checks, reporting any stock issues to Line Leaders and Managers.</li><li>Conduct weekly Glass and Brittle Plastic checks.</li><li>Perform monthly traceability & mass balance exercises.</li><li>Communicate technical or quality-related issues to the QA Manager & Technical Manager through daily handover emails.</li><li>Ensure Health & Safety & HACCP requirements are met.</li><li>Maintain accurate record-keeping systems, both manual and computerised.</li><li>Monitor product shelf life, quality, and trials in line with customer specifications.</li><li>Carry out laboratory sampling for Pesticides and Microbiological testing, including hand swabs and water samples.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>Other Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Maintain a positive and proactive approach with internal and external staff and visitors.</li><li>Support the Technical Department during external audits, including BRC, GLOBALG.A.P., Red Tractor, LEAF, and SMETA.</li><li>Represent the Technical Department in internal meetings, such as First Aid, Health & Safety, and the Employee Forum.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></div><ul><li>Previous experience in a quality assurance or food manufacturing environment (preferred).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes accurately.</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>A proactive and problem-solving attitude.</li><li>Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety standards is advantageous.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>Why Join Us?<br></strong><br></div><ul><li>Be part of a supportive and dedicated team.</li><li>Opportunity to grow and develop within the business.</li><li>Gain experience in a dynamic and quality-driven environment.</li></ul><div><br><strong>Salary £27-28k, depending on experience</strong></div><div><br></div><div>If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and compliance, we would love to hear from you!
